Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer
Years using Creo: past 4 years

“Q: What is the biggest change you have seen from Creo 2 to Creo 4?
A: The biggest change I have seen is the improvement in the user interface and the added user customisation options. The ability for the user to create customisable menus, as well as the presence of the mini-tool bar, allows the user to focus on the graphics area while still being able to access the required modelling functions. Flexible modelling for sheet metal also adds a new dynamic to the package, allowing the user to make quick changes to these designed components.

Q: How has/will this improvement impacted your work flow?
A: This has allowed me to be more productive, with less effort in conducting tasks which required much more effort in Creo 2.
Creo 4 has reduced the amount of mouse travel required during the design process by the addition of the mini-tool bar as customisable menus, allowing me to have access to my preferred options almost instantly. Improvements in Creo 4 to the already existing features in Creo 2, such as geometric tolerances have reduced the amount of time required to complete a task.”

Title: Design Specialist
Years using Creo: past 9 years

“Q: What is the biggest change you have seen from Creo 2 to Creo 4?
A: I really like the pop up window when you click on the part in the graphics window. You get all the options that you can do on that part all bundled together at one place. This limits your cursor movements all over the screen.

Q: How has/will this improvement impacted your work flow?
A: The upgrade will enable me to work a lot faster because mouse movement will be limited”
